Check-In
Check-in is 4:00 pm or later. You will receive all your check-in information on the morning of your arrival, including the directions and instructions you’ll need to make your stay unforgettable.
Please note: While check-in time is 4:00 pm, you will be provided with your own individualized code to access the front door of the main house, in addition to your suite’s entry door, so you can come and go as you please after check-in.
Check-Out
Check-out is at 11:00 am.
Early Check-In or Late Check-Out: We can usually accommodate these requests, but there is a $50 fee for each service. You can add these options when booking your room or call the Inn directly, and we will be happy to assist you in adding them to your reservation.
Cancellations
Every guest reservation is both important and special to us. In the event you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. We require 48 hours notice in order for guests to receive a full refund. During select date ranges (Kentucky Derby, Breeder’s Cup, and other major events) the cancellation policy may vary.
Rates
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.
Minimum stay requirements
During peak season or holidays, we may require a minimum of two nights’ stay on weekends.
Payment methods
We accept Visa, Discover, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not accept cash or checks. All payments are electronically processed 48 hours prior to arrival. No money is collected or kept on-site. All reservations are subject to local and state taxes. If you have a gift card, please call the Inn at (859) 214-2144 to apply the gift card toward your reservation.
Smoking
Rose Hill Inn is a smoke-free establishment and smoking inside the premises is strictly prohibited. Guests may smoke behind the Inn in the smoking area. If guests smoke inside their guest suites, there will be a $300 damage fee charged.
Pets
Due to the owner’s and guests’ allergies, we do not allow pets. If you have an approved service dog, please call us to book your reservations. We have some areas of the Inn that are more adaptable for service animals than others. Owners are highly allergic to other pets and we will not be able to accommodate those pets at the Inn.
Children
Please notify us in advance if you will be traveling with infants or children under 12 years of age. We have some suites that are more desirable for parents with children than others. We do have a pack-n-play, high profile inflatable twin bed, as well as a high chair for guest use.
