The Ideal Gateway to Bourbon Country

Front view of Rose Hill Inn in Autumn
Do you know why most of the world’s Bourbon is made just a short drive of Rose Hill Inn? Well, I am not going to tell you. You will have to visit to find out. What I will tell you is that staying in Versailles puts you in a central location to access multiple distilleries.

Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, Glenn’s Creek, Wild Turkey and Castle and Key are all within a few minutes from Rose Hill Inn. Not only is this convenient, but it also allows for flexibility in planning your itinerary. You can visit multiple distilleries in a day, take your time exploring each one, or even pop back to your bed and breakfast for a mid-day break before continuing your tasting adventure. Check out how close we are to the Bourbon Distilleries on our webpage.

Many of our guests stay in Versailles and take day trips to the distilleries in Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, Bardstown and Lawrenceburg. All of these locations are about an hour or less away. Our location allows guests to stay in one location and experience several different regions on the Bourbon Trail.
